Alzheimer’s Care

An estimated 5.5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia in 2017. This progressive and degenerative illness indiscriminately attacks the brain, resulting in impaired memory, ability and behavior.

A person with Alzheimer’s may be physically healthy but require 24 hour assistance with basic daily activities. This need for assistance and guidance causes significant changes in independent and family living. Care giving duties can make recreation, household life and employment difficult or impossible to maintain.

Spanish Oaks Retreat is designed to provide for the needs of the person and family dealing with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.

There is so much I could say but it all came down to this: From beginning to end the entire Spanish Oaks team was the best that I could ask for. Everyone gave us excellent care.

Spanish Oaks Hospice was great. I cannot think of a single time that a staff member assisted us and we did not feel cared for and looked after. Our family appreciates the devotion and caring attitude of the entire staff. Thanks for making this difficult time much easier to deal with.
